The Swiss artists Sarah Montani and her cousin Joey Montani show during the Art Basel Miami Beach (Florida) an underwater sculpture inspired by the deep sea, which can only be visualized via augmented reality (AR) tech. However, all visitors can grab the digital artwork using a QR code. The vernissage starts today as a satellite event in the Art District Wynwood.
The Underwater Museum of Art (UMA) in Florida, the Museo Subacuático de Arte (MUSA) in Mexico, the Museo Atlántico in Lanzarote – all three are submarine sculpture museums where underwater art can be discovered in a diving suit. The underwater world has also inspired Swiss artist duo Sarah Montani and Joey Montani, who will present a digital underwater sculpture using augmented reality technology during Art Basel Miami Beach 2022.
