Anyone interested in Virtual Events and fashion might want to take a look at this: As part of the upcoming Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFW), which kicks off on March 28, 2023, the studio for immersive experiences Artificial Rome, Berlin / Germany, aims to set new standards for the presentation of digital fashion with its new "Legacy of Tomorrow" event.
Digital fashion is a fairly young discipline in the fashion industry. It is considered a sustainable counter-trend to environmentally hazardous fast fashion and has numerous areas of application. Designers create realistic looking fashion pieces without actually using fabric or other materials. These pieces are presented by model avatars and then used, for example, in the gaming world, for virtual dress try-ons at fashion online shops or as extravagant outfits that social media influencers wear when creating eye-catching photos or videos.
Once again this year, international brands and designers will showcase their new digital fashion outfits at the innovative Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFW). In this context, the luxury event Legacy of Tomorrow will take place from March 29-30. This Metaverse event for digital premium fashion offers brands like 'altr' or 'The Fabricant' a new virtual stage in order to deliver premium digital fashion experiences to the audience.
Artificial Rome’s own Metaverse platform Soil will enable all attendees of the Legacy of Tomorrow show to discover creative outfits in a virtual, photo-realistic environment. The digital fashion designers, on the other hand, will have the opportunity not only to present their fashion pieces in great detail, but also to interact directly with the audience beyond the virtual catwalk via text and voice chats.
