Safety first! Coca-Cola Christmas trucks are back – with a special safety concept

As part of this year’s Coca-Cola Christmas campaign, which was created in line with the new Coca-Cola brand philosophy "Real Magic", the popular Christmas trucks are once again on tour around Germany. The tour stops at a total of 8 locations. The outdoor event will be conducted under special Corona safety precautions.

After a one-year absence, the legendary Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour returns to Germany. The roadshow starts on November 25 in Rövershagen at Karls-Erlebnishof and then stops in seven other German cities. The grand finale is scheduled for Dec. 21, 2021, in Berlin.

The tour takes place under a special Corona pandemic safety concept (access is only possible for vaccinated or recovered persons, non-vaccinated people are not allowed to join the on-site event). Visitors must register in advance for one of two time slots (from 3 p.m. or from 5:30 p.m.) on the website coke.de/trucktour. The brand managers promise a wonderful Christmas world with festive lights, Christmas scents and experiences. At the 8 event locations, visitors will also have the chance to take home a personalized Coca-Cola glass bottle as a small pre-Christmas gift.

The Christmas Roadshow Event is part of Coca-Cola’s new "Real Magic" brand offensive. Fittingly, this year’s 360° Christmas campaign centers on the core message that the magic of Christmas lies above all in enjoying it together with family and friends.

Manolo Arroyo, Coca-Cola’s Global Chief Marketing Officer, summarizes the idea of the campaign: "Coca-Cola has always believed in the magic of Christmas and this year our campaign celebrates the true magic of human connection. With an uplifting message of togetherness and joie de vivre, the Christmas campaign aims to remind us that the only thing we really need at Christmas is shared moments with the people we love."

The Coca-Cola Christmas campaign will run throughout the holiday season. It includes out-of-home, TV advertising, Christmas-themed promotions at the PoS, as well as PR and social media activities. This year, fans will also have the opportunity to be part of the Coca-Cola Christmas campaign. Among other things, well-known influencers will take their communities into the Coca-Cola Christmas world and there will be the opportunity to win an overnight stay in a converted Coca-Cola Christmas truck – with all the comforts and culinary surprises.

The product itself is available in the popular Christmas edition Coca-Cola Zero Sugar "Cinnamon". The bottles and multipacks of Coca-Cola Original and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar are also available in a festive design. This year’s design features the iconic Santa Claus motif.
