In October, the city of Erfurt, Germany, becomes the place-to-be for fans of country music and line dancing. Europe’s largest country music fair will take place daily from October 3 to October 5, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Trade fair organizer Messe Erfurt is announcing new highlights to inspire existing fans and reach new target groups.
At Thuringia’s largest event site, the Erfurt trade fair grounds, visitors can see their favorite country stars live on stage, take part in workshops, stroll through the country shopping malls and taste the culinary highlights associated with the event theme.
Numerous artists have signed up for the big trade fair event, including "Music Road Pilots" and "Ramblin Boots" from the Netherlands, "More Than Words" featuring Stefanie Hertel, Germany, the AC/DC tribute band "HICH VOLTAGE" from Belgium, Peter Aristone from Prague and other national and international country stars.
A cooperation between REMA GmbH, Känguruh Production Concert Agency GmbH and Messe Erfurt GmbH is expanding the country music event. In October, numerous concerts with a total of 42 hours of live music and the trade fair/exhibition will not only appeal to country music fans as the core audience, but also to families and music enthusiasts who have not previously been so interested in country music. Interesting new areas will be added to the exhibition to appeal to trucker and motorcycle fans as well as western riders.
This year’s event will once again support social projects, including the Albert Schweitzer Children’s Village in Erfurt. DKMS information material will also be available on site.
