Green Events German vanlife exhibition aims to be completely climate-neutral

The so-called vanlife lifestyle, with people living all or part of their lives in a vehicle (e.g. a caravan or campervan) and combine life on the road with remote work, is becoming increasingly popular. From May 12 to 14, 2023, the German vanlife community plans to meet at Hofgut Kaltenbach near the City of Dresden. The outdoor trade fair is to be the first of its kind to be completely climate-neutral.

The organizers of the WORLD EXPLORIA trade fair promise vanlife fans three days of new inspiration and the opportunity to network with other members of the vanlife community. On a total of 25,000 square meters of exhibition space, more than 100 exhibitors and experts want to present their products as well as professional services in the fields of caravaning, bushcrafting, emergency assistance, etc. Workshops and lectures provide the framework for networking and communication.

Sustainability is a very important topic for the vanlife community. WORLD EXPLORIA therefore also aims to be Germany’s first completely climate-neutral outdoor trade fair on the topic. On the exhibition grounds, the focus is to be on recyclable materials and to do completely without plastic. The organizers would like to offset the CO2 emissions that cannot be avoided during the weekend with suitable CO2 compensation measures, e.g. in the form of support for climate-friendly projects such as the Dresden-based company Wilderness International.
