With the music event "Night of the Choirs," the popular German sparkling wine "Rotkäppchen" already launched a successful event format in 2019 that enables choirs and singers in Germany to stand on a stage together with a great music star. For the third edition in 2021, the original on-site event was upgraded to a TV event format.
The brand managers at Rotkäppchen promise the audience numerous "goosebump moments." In addition to the emotional performances on stage, the audience will also be given behind-the-scenes insights and the participants will be offered an even bigger stage.
The TV show will start on October 25, 2021, when the "Rotkäppchen Night of Choirs" is presented for the first time as a live stream and can be seen on the German channel TVNOW until November 22. The well-known singer-songwriter Johannes Oerding is both mentor and top act of the TV event. Accompanied by the GrooveChor Hannover, the Beauties and the Beats from Neckarsulm and a newly assembled Germany choir of soloists*, Oerding performs his most popular hits like never before. Presenter Johanna Klum leads through the show, which is characterized by intimate insights into the career of Johannes Oerding, the path of the choirs to Freyburg and special performances.
