On December 16, 2021, the well-known business networks LinkedIn and Xing will be joined by a new, innovative social network: "Horizon Business" is the first avatar-based networking platform for business contacts.
The business platform set up for the international online congress "ITSM Horizon" by the German Scholderer GmbH in 2021 (see article on eventmasterbook.de in German language) will remain live and can be accessed from December 16, 2021 at horizonbusiness.de. The social network for establishing and maintaining business contacts is designed purely virtually in 3D and is avatar-based. Despite the game-like approach, it is primarily about new business contacts and professional live interaction among the members, not about virtual gaming.
As with the well-known career networks LinkedIn and Xing, interested parties can become members of Horizon Business, create individual profiles and start networking. It is possible to explore the new business platform in a guest mode (i.e. on a trial basis, without registering at all).
The idea for the virtual network came from Dr. Robert Scholderer, consultant, university lecturer, author on the subject of IT service management and managing director of the German Scholderer GmbH. The implementation and maintenance of the platform is the job of the 3D Ready GmbH, a subsidiary of the Scholderer Group.
"With Horizon Business, we want to broaden the offering of the conventional career networks such as LinkedIn and XING by providing a contemporary tool. Users can contact each other directly via their Avatars, chat with each other or even make phone calls via the web", says Dr. Robert Scholderer.
Even if gaming is not the focus of the new business platform, the platform is deliberately kept playful, in line with the gaming concept that was already the basic idea of the online congress "ITSM Horizon" in 2021. Further information on the project is available at: https://www.horizonbusiness.de
